Repositories:

Hardy: (amd64 and i386)

deb http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/pculture.org/miro/linux/repositories/ubuntu hardy/

Gutsy: (amd64 and i386)

deb http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/pculture.org/miro/linux/repositories/ubuntu gutsy/

Note: We don't support backports repositories. We're very sorry for this, but it's too much work to maintain all the combinations. If you can help, let us know.

Feisty: (i386)

deb http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/pculture.org/miro/linux/repositories/ubuntu feisty/

The last supported version will be Miro 1.2.3. After that, we hope a volunteer will step up to continue building packages for Ubuntu Feisty.

Dapper: (i386)

deb http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/pculture.org/miro/linux/repositories/ubuntu dapper/

The last supported version will be Miro 1.2.3. After that, we hope a volunteer will step up to continue building packages for Ubuntu Dapper.

Installation instructions:

To install Miro on Ubuntu, you need to add our repository. This is pretty easy and you only need to do it once.

  1. Open synaptic package manager:

    ubuntu install
  2. Open the repositories window

    ubuntu install
  3. Select the "Third Party" tab, then click the add button

    ubuntu install
  4. Enter the repository from above.

    ubuntu install

...then click the Add Source button

  5. Install Miro

Once PCF's repository is added, you can install Miro like any other ubuntu package. Hit the Reload button, search for "Miro" and mark the packages for installation and click Apply.
  6. That's it!

After this you will be notified when new versions are released.
  7. If permitted in your location, you can download support for additional codecs at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats.

Be the first to know about updates to Miro.
